I tired this gear out this past weekend and it was great for the cold weather. It wasnt raining so I cant comment on the waterproof effectiveness yet but it was great at blocking the wind.

Id call the jersey true to US size. I have a 40 inch chest and the large Jersey fits over a Leatt 4.5 chest protector. Jersey has a fine fleece/soft backing and the material is slightly stretchy. Thumb stirrups to keep your sleeves from riding up and two cinch cams and elastic cord at the waist. The neck is a made of a more elastic material than the jersey.nnnNice pants especially for the price. I called AOMC customer service to get an estimate on the fit and they said these run small. Exact opposite! I ordered the 36 but these measure 39 inches at the waist(the label is 36) with the zipper up. There is quite a bit of adjustment at the waist with the two nylon adjustment straps. I tried these on with a pair of Troy Lee 7605 armored short and still had to cinch the waist almost all the way in. I think you could be a real 37 to 38 inch waist and still wear a thick padded short. Inseam to the shortest part of the cuff is 33 inches. Lots of room at the knee. Leg cuff is asymmetric. Six pockets total. Two Cargo pockets two open top front pockets and two zipper front pockets. Quality materials and nice finishing. If I had it to do over Id ask customer service to measure the waist. nnGloves are a neoprene back and have a thin full liner. The back of the thumb is a terry cloth wipe on both hands. No armor. nnThe only challenge with this set is the pants fit. A great value if you can get the correct waist.
