Its a precision CNC machined work of art. I have had this disc guard on for 150hrs of Socal desert and mtn rocky abuse and it has taken several hard hits with no damage. The anodizing is removed from leading edge and it is pretty scratched but that is par for the course. It weighs 414g but replaces the stock caliper mount that weighs 292g for a net gain of a mere 122g (.26lb). Way more beefy than the slightly cheaper bolt on unit that would be destroyed (or rip the mount tab off swingarm) with the first hard hit. Very good value for the money.
